Routine GP appointments can also be booked online via Online Services. If you wish to access this service please see the Online Services tab or ask for more details at reception.
Please remember to cancel unwanted appointments. In 2017 we lost 77 hours of GP time due to patients not turning up for booked appointments. GP time is a previous resource - please do not waste it.
We are funded by NHS England to provide routine 10 minute GP appointments. We prefer to deal with one problem during an appointment as this allows us to deal with it appropriately. If you feel you may need longer please ask reception to book you a longer appointment.
We offer different appointment types dependent upon the service that you require from us. The length of appointment time may also therefore vary. The receptionist will book you with the most appropriate member of the clinical team that meets your healthcare needs.
Our GP's offer different types of appointment:
Routine Pre-Bookable Appointments - these appointments can be booked up to 4 weeks in advance. These appointments can also be booked online.
On The Day Appointments - these appointments meet the on the day demand from patients to be seen today. These appointments are not currently available to book online.
Emergency Appointments - we always retain some emergency appointments for patients who become acutely unwell i.e. asthma attack. These appointments are not available to book online.
