There are many benefits to you as a patient registering for Online Services.  Once you have registered you can book routine GP Appointments and order authorised Repeat Medications.  If you also register for the Electronic  Prescription Service you can have your prescriptions sent straight to a nominated pharmacy of your choice. 

You can access Online Services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, at home or abroad using any digital device that can access the internet.

  • It will reduce your visits and telephone calls to the Practice
  • You can give proxy access to an authorised person to manage your routine GP appointments and authorised repeat prescription ordering
  • You will be able to check which medication you should be taking and when
  • You will be able to access information on how to take medication safely through links to trusted websites
  • This saves both you and the practice time and money.  Its easy to use and eliminates the need to visit the surgery or pay for a telephone calls


Nurse Practitioners

Mrs Sharleen Blundell (f)

Sharleen Blundell is our Nurse Manager.  

Sharleen's qualifications are:

RGN, AdDip in Adult Nursing, BSc (Hons) in Health and Social Care, Non Medical and Supplementary Prescribing V300 (Level 7) Enhanced Clinical Assessment (Level 7), Minor Injuries Level 7), Minor Illness (Level 7) Managing Yourself and Leading Other (Level 7), Foundation in clinical Research Knowledge Skills and Practice (Level 7) Spirometry (ARTP Register) Level 6, Respiratory Disease Management (Level 6), Sexual Health and Contraception (Level 6), Cytology (Level 6).  Sharleen is currently on the Master's pathway for Advanced Clinical Practitioners.

Mrs Helen Pidegeon (f)

Helen is a Nurse Practitioner.  Helen's qualifications are:

RGN, DipHE in Adult Nursing, BSc(Hons) in acute and critial illness, Minor Injuries (Level 6) and currently undertaking Non Medical & Supplemtary Prescribing  V300 (Level 7)


Nurse Hayley Cooper (f)

Hayley is a Practice Nurse.  Hayley's qualification are:

RGN, DipHE in Adult Nursing and BSc(Hons) in Nursing Practice and a Post Graduate Diploma in Midwifery.  Hayley is current doing her Diabetes Diploma at Level 6.

Hayley is able to undertake diabetic reviews, cytology, adult vaccinations, national child immunisation and vaccination programme, NHS travel vaccinations, dressings and contraception reviews.

Nurse Lesley Parsons (f)

Lesley is our Lead Practice Nurse for Diabetes.

Lesley's qualifications are:

RGN, DipHE Adult Nursing, BSc(Hons) Specialist Community and Public Health Nursing (SPCHN), Health Visiting, Coronary Care (Level 6) Clinical Assessment (Level 6).  Lesley is currently undertaking her Diabetes Diploma at Level 6.

Lesley is able to undertake, diabetes reviews, adult vaccinations, national childhood vaccination programme, NHS travel vaccinations,cytology, dressings and contraception reviews.

Nurse Lisa Tighe (f)

Lisa is our Lead Respirtatory Nurse.

Lisa's qualifications are RGN, Ashtma Diploma (Level 5), COPD Diploma (Level 5), Spirometry (Level 5), ARTp Registered.

Lisa sees our asthma and COPD patients.

Treatment Room Nurses

Nurse Natalie Edwards (f)

Natalie is a Treatment Room Nurse and is also our Infection Control Lead. Natalie's qualifications are:

RGN, DipHE in Adult Nursing and BSc(Hons).  Natalie is about to commence her Practice Nursing Fundamentals Course at Level 7 and her Diabetes Diploma at Level 4.

Natalie is able to carry our cancer care reviews, cytology, adult vaccinations, national childhood vaccination programme, NHS travel vaccinations and dressings
