Disabled access
Both of our premises are accessible by wheelchair and reserved parking is situated close to the front doors of both sites. A lift is available at the Sprowston site. Both sites have disabled toilets.
Baby changing facilities
We have baby changing facilities at both sites.
Breastfeeding friendly practice
East Norwich Medical Partnership is breastfeeding friendly. Mothers are welcome to feed their children in the waiting room if this is where they feed comfortable. If you would like somewhere more private to feed your baby, please ask at reception and a room will be found for you.
Making healthcare information accessible
The accessible information standard aims to make sure that people who have a disability, impairment or sensory loss get information that they can access and understand as well as any communication support that they need from health and care services.
The standard tells organisations how they should make sure that patients and service users, and their carers and parents, can access and understand the information they are given. This includes making sure that people get information in accessible formats, for example by offering support from a British Sign Language (BSL) interpreter, a deaf blind manual interpreter or an advocate.
We would like to get better at communication with our patients. We would like to make sure that you can read and understand the information we send you. If you find it hard to read any letters we send to you or if you need someone to support you at appointments, please let us know.
We would like to know if you:
- Would like information in braille
- Would like information in larger print
- Would like information easy read
- Need the services of a British Sign Language interpreter/deaf blind interpreter
- Need the services of a patient advocate
We would also like to know if we can support you to lipread, or use a hearing aid or communication tool such as a hearing loop.
Please let reception know of any accessibility needs that you may have or give details on your new patient medical form so that your medical records can reflect your needs.
