Extended hours
At present we provide an additional 8 hours of appointments per week. This is a combination of booked GP telephone appointments and additional phlebotomy service over the lunchtime period.
Extended hours appointments are available 6:30pm to 8:30pm on alternating Thursdays.
We do not currently provide extended hours appointments on Saturdays or Sundays.
Improved access
East Norwich Medical Partnership is participating in the NHS England funded improved access scheme to provide some additional GP, nurse practitioner and nurse appointments for our patients.
For patients registered in East Norwich these appointments will be based at:
Lionwood Medical Practice
30a Wellesley Avenue North
Norwich
NR1 4NU
Under this scheme, Lionwood Medical Practice is the hub for patients registered in practices in the East of Norwich.
Pharmacies
We have two on site pharmacies, one located on each practice site. However, these are both independent from the practice and are not part of our business operation. Please see our prescriptions page for more information about the nearest pharmacies.
If you need help when we are closed
If you need medical help now, use NHS 111 online or call 111.
NHS 111 online is for people aged 5 and over. Call 111 if you need help for a child under 5.
Call 999 in a medical or mental health emergency. This is when someone is seriously ill or injured and their life is at risk.
